No extreme demands, just people marching in the streets asking for peace, letting him know that Russians are not buying his excuses for war, that they see through his endless stream of obvious false-flag operations and propaganda, that they know what he's up to.
Putin cares a lot about his popularity and his legacy. Peace marches directed at his actions would go against that.
Just peace marches in general, in Russia, directed at Russian leadership. Sometimes that stuff works, it's a lot better than doing nothing.
Plus it would be kind of hard for Putin to crack down hard on peace marches without looking really bad in front of Russians.

This war is extremely unpopular in Russia and Putin knows it. He doesn't care about it. Crimea was very different. First, it was bloodless. Second bringing Crimea back was a popular idea. Third, the way Russia executed it did display a lot of skill of our army.
This one is ENTIRELY different. First, it's a bloody war. No reasonable man wants a war and Russia, despite Putin's propaganda, is not exactly filled with lunatics. Second, there are 2 millions Ukrainians living in Russia. I have met Ukrainians at every job I had and dated two Ukrainian girls. So did most of Russians. We don't want to kill Ukrainians. Third, we don't quite get the point of the war. It absolutely will not stop NATO, but rather make them come at us. It also would lead to severe economic consequences, at best.
Maje no mistake, what Putin is doing right now is extremely unpopular. It also does not seem to matter.

I am so desperately sad for my family that lives in Ukraine, and angry at Russia for its arrogance and desire to control countries that want nothing to do with its barbaric rule.
I wish a long and ugly war on Russia, taken to its capital and ended with a bullet between Putin's eyes.

Yeah, with the world unstable after two years of Covid, people angry at others they don’t know, and the government driving wedges between folks - it would seem like a lot of ingredients are there

The consequences should also extend to Belarus and their treacherous and cowardly leader.

As I make a morning commute in Moscow, I see passengers looking deeply worried. Everyone has that "How bad is it going to be?" kind of look on their faces.

How does NATO stand by and do nothing? Russia's sanctions were impotent. At a minimum you need to cut off every last ounce of Russian trade and their citizens to get a response internally against Putin.

Obviously I don't blame you, but how do Russian citizens stand by and let this happen? I know a good % are brainwashed by Putin, but ffs this is a decently advanced economy with outside access to information
