Exactly, video review should be used for where it's clear a mistake was made. Anything where it takes you to slow it down frame by frame is out of the spirit of the game in my opinion.

If you have technology to review it, you review it.

Not on zone entries, only on zone clears. It's a really poorly-written rule.

I've harped on this for years but I want them to just get rid of the blue line. For the same reasons we got rid of the red line

Afternoon games sure are different for some reason.
Don’t like them in the playoffs.

Including pucks fully not crossing the goal line?
Kylington messed that up by slowing up before he got the puck in.

Only time you should be slowing down and analyzing frames is on the goal line or crease for contact.
In my opinion.
If we're going to go into the centimeter game, have machines that are able to monitor the line and call the play down as it happens. If you can't accomplish that, then this redacting whole shifts or rushes over a couple frames shouldn't be a thing.
If it's that close the play should be let go, I don't care what team it is.
I'm far less stringent about close offsides than missed penalties or whether the puck is fully across the goal line.

the blue line should have the same thickness as the goal line

This is the problem with the blue line - it’s considered both on and out of the zone.
On zone entries it’s not in the zone yet, zone exits as long as it’s on the line it’s still in the zone.
Worst part of explaining the blueline and rules to kids.

Sutter advocated for thicker blue lines (but I think a different rule on when the puck clears).

What difference would it make? The puck is still completely over, or it isn't.
The good thing about fat lines is they are easy to see from afar, while on the ice

Replays are black and white. This is why people are against using replay.
