I want edmonton to trade their first (unprotected) for help to make the playoffs and then miss...or if 7ts unprotected, make it for 4 games only

I glanced at Dallas when I made the post, and somehow saw them as +3.
They are, of course, +7, just behind LA and EDM at +9. So yeah, as you say, right there (which is what I thought until my old eyes saw +3)

I don't think Winnipeg is completely out yet either. If they beat the Flames today, they will be 5 points behind LA with 32 games to go.

It’s not set in stone like the east is, there’s time for someone to go on a run. But if I had to put money down on it that’s what I’d go with.

Braun makes a ton of sense, klingberg is an interesting one for sure he’s not the same player as 3 years ago and before but he’s got lots of size and would look good cycling in and out as the 7th D ahead of the playoffs. I’d still take Braun though as he’s more defensively inclined.

Not a huge fan of seeing the Flames linked to high priced Defensive rentals. I happy with the 6 they have right now. If they want to get some better depth then so be it but not sure why we are seeing them linked to guys with a rumored 1st round asking price?

It might just be me but the guy I want the least from that list is Giordano. I just think it would be a major distraction

I would rather keep the 23 1st and offer up Coronato and an additional 2nd. I would be all in on getting Schiefele though if he is in fact available.
