They run point-Siakam and point-Barnes minutes a little more with Young on there, as he can space and move the ball well.
Will it be enough to hold their position in the standings and avoid the play-in? Maybe?

Seventh easiest remaining schedule and a 21-10 record since their 9-13 start. They should be fine if they stay healthy but certainly not a given. Young's versatility should help alot down the stretch.

Chuck remains the king lol. Inside the NBA really is one of the best TV shows ever.

Nice of the Raptors to get a win heading into the allstar break. It's early but you can definitely see what the organization sees in Thad Young. He's already reading cutting opportunities off of Siakam better than some guys who have been playing with him for years.

Big win tonight against a pretty ugly Brooklyn lineup. Barnes with the first 25/15/5 steal game on 85%+ shooting in NBA history (for a rookie). Nice games from Precious + Malachi Flynn as well. Pascal has been shaky since returning from the break, hope he can get back to his strong play soon, they are going to need him for the stretch run.
Also, saw this tidbit posted in an article on The Ringer, thought others might find it interesting:

Here’s a weird stat I stumbled upon when researching the Raptors: So far this season, 71 NBA players have tried to score out of an isolation play at least 100 times, according to Second Spectrum. OG Anunoby ranks last in efficiency. Fred VanVleet ranks second-to-last. And they’re at the bottom by a wide margin. They’re the only two players scoring under 0.7 points per isolation, according to Second Spectrum. That’s disappointing for Toronto. At the top of the list, you’ll find the usual suspects. Nikola Jokic and DeMar DeRozan rank first and second. Steph Curry and James Harden rank fourth and fifth. But the third-place scorer? Gary Trent Jr.

Siakam has been playing with the flu since the end of All-Star break apparently.
Glad to see Flynn play as well as he did. Masai still expressed confidence in him at the trade deadline presser. Nurse praised his IQ and toughness. Hopefully he can emerge as a reliable backup PG option.

I think that Denver game might have been the best one yet for Barnes. I think he's had statistically better games, but this was the most thorough game from him: impacted every quarter of play, at both ends, and offensively did it both in the half court and transition. Was also controlling so much of the game even beyond his stats. And the fact that he was going against Jokic for so much of the night as a rookie is so impressive.
Great road trip so far for the Raptors, but they'll need to avoid their usual playing-down-to-their-opponents tendencies to close it out.

Yeah I'm fully expecting a loss tomorrow with how awful the Lakers currently are. Good thing in the playoffs is there are no bad teams so that takes out the playing down thing.

LeBron is almost 40 and acted like a petulant child and goon all game. Embarrassing
Should’ve been given two techs and an ejection.
The Lakers being an absolute disaster this year gives me pleasure

It's actually funny watching Lebron vs. the Raptors just to see the enormous gap in NBA officiating based on who has the ball; you pretty much have to punch Siakam in the face to hear a whistle whereas if you're anywhere in Lebron's general vicinity...
Anyway it would be really nice if Cleveland could stop gutting out insane comeback wins like they did yesterday, then the Raps might actually catch them and get out of the play in.

Much respect to Precious for the steps he has taken during the season. He has been an extremely valuable contributor over the last 4-5 weeks. I still worry about him when the playoffs roll around but that is a future me problem.
Really proud of these guys!
