I pretty much need Texas A&M to win tomorrow if I want to have any hope of getting back into this.

Pretty good early games... right now it's Memphis over Texas A&M 21 - 19, and Southern Ill over Kansas 24 - 23. Hopefully both games stay tight all the way to the end.

Could the announcers of this Memphis game be any dumber?
Anyone else watch the review of the clock at 3.1 seconds? It was obvious that the ball was still in play after it was deflected.

Memphis wins! Very appropriate that their season comes down to making foul-shots, as that's been a nemisis for them. I'm guessing the A&M loss will kill some brackets.

Yeah, pretty clueless. I was sitting there estimating it and it seemed to me to be around 9-10ths, and I couldn't believe the announcers didn't understand it. At least the guys on The Score knew what was going on.

Despite that, Raftery and Lundquist are probably my favorite tandem when it comes to college hoops commentators.

Leave Raftery alone, he's awesome.

If by awsome, you mean blind, then ya I agree.
I remember Vern from Sunday night football games on TNT, I liked him then, and generally think he's ok now, but man, how dumb can two humans be?

Nashville seems to be doing well against Ohio... I was really close to picking them to win this one and then get to the final four. Even though I went back and changed my pick to Ohio, I'm definitely hoping for them to pull off the upset tonight.
Just looking at the box score, I see Oden's got two fouls already. Probably the Vols made a conscious decision to go after him on the defensive end after that approach worked so well for Xavier.

Interesting tourney so far. Waaaaaaaay fewer upsets than in previous years, and no really low seeds have done too much thus far.
Usually picking the top 4-6 seeds (for the most part) to run right through to the elite 8 is a mistake, but this year you'd have a ton of points so far if you did just that.
I'm with Rico- Go Ducks!

Fun stuff tonight. 4 for 4 on my picks and way up into 4th place. I like it.

Anyone watching the Oregon game? Porter had 17 straight Oregon points over a five minute stretch. It's amazing with Oregon how one guy will get hot and they just feed it to him until he cools down, but it seems like a different guy every game.

97th percentile is damn impressive. Usually you'd be running away with the pool. Not so this year.
Lots of guys are within striking distance. Weird year.

Well, I'm in second place now (at least I think I am, the site hasn't updated yet), but this is probably my high watermark, as I have all four #1 seeds losing in the next round. Not sure why I did that; we'll see, though. All eight remaining seeds are pretty even.

OSU finally looked like a one seed.
Go Bucks.
