Playing against the Flames right now seems like it is just punishing for the opposition. It's no wonder we see these teams fade late in the game lately

Consistently noticing Flames opponents are crumpling by about the midway point of games without any answer the rest of the way.

It's choke-out hockey.

The Flames check all the boxes game in and game out.

That’s why they are a SC contender.
I'm going to wait to see how they respond to the next bout of adversity which will come.

But its hard not to feel like they have all the tools.

It's nice to see this team be tough and relentless on the forecheck. It helps that they have the twin towers back there hammering on people and basically everyone finishing every check they can.

Yet because it wasn't McAvi it won't get the praise it deserves.

Flames are rolling, but again, you can point to some key Markstrom saves in the first and second to buoy the Flames and turn the heads of the Ducks, down.

Toss in a Flames goal like the third goal aftet a Ducks PP and then the Ducks deflate, and as a result, the fourth one comes soon after. In this case, forces a goalie change

My guess is it's going to end with a couple more goals for the Flames in the third, though the golaie change is an interesting twist of it isn't injury. Eakins not wanting his team to give up on the new goalie?
