There is some extra intensity to this Hurricanes vs Panthers game. Fun game to watch.

The Jets now lead 2-1 after forty minutes. Scheifele has both goals and assisted by Wheeler. The second goal came with a dozen seconds remaining in the period. Plenty of shots, 23-23 so far.

Terravinen scores in the last minute of the first period,
1-0 Hurricanes.

Yes, it is unsatisfactory. The Hextall/Millen pairing is not working. I am glad I have TVA Sports so I can watch the retro Southeast division rivals go at it.

The production crew didn't do Leah Hextall any favours tonight. Her voice isn't naturally resonant, and it sounded like they were burying her in the mix. Millen came through loud and clear but had nothing much to say. This needs fixing.
