How can you manage only 2 shots in a period against that defence.

I think that is the worst period I have seen a NHL team play this year. 2 frigging shots by the Sharks and did they manage to complete even 5 tape to tape passes that period. Just a disgraceful showing by the Sharks save for the first five minutes of the first period where they got half of their shots on goal!!

Well, #### this. I think every Shark player is drunk or hungover.

Sharks are taxidermy sharks with no fins.

Nothing more to it. Oilers will get pounded by the much better teams in the next couple weeks.

If they call beating the likes of the Isles and Sharks a triumph or sign of rounding the corner then they're stupider than everybody already thinks.

The Woodcroft bump won't come even close to the Boudreau bump.

What an embarrassing effort by the Sharks. Shameful. This is the f'n Oilers we're talking about here. This should have been an easy 2 points for San Jose.

If there ever was a game that should have finished 0-0, that was it.

So the Oilers get the Sharks and Kings playing their first games in 2 weeks. Don’t know about the Kings but the Sharks were most definitely rusty after their layoff.

Seattle got spanked by the leafs, but I’m not afraid to admit I’m pulling for the kraken. They have gio, they are a terrible expansion team (no instant success like the knights that I hate), beautiful jerseys and a city I like- my folks took us many times on holidays as a kid.

That could be said for the other 3 OOT games. The Bhawks, Kraken, and Red Wings also had one job. The bummer is just one team did their job.

The rookie Matt Boldy gets the hat trick and an assist in the Wild's victory. Minnesota's special teams were the reason they won, 3/4 on the PP and 5/6 on the PK. The Red Wings were down 5-2 and came with in a goal before the Wild scored 2 late goals including an empty net goal.

The Bhawks with a solid road win. Kane gets a goal and an assist and Fleury made 31 saves. It was a clean and calm game because there were only 2 minor penalties called.

The Oilers won, so what. Skinner stops 20 shots for the shutout and Bouchard with 2 assists. Each team was 0/4 on the PP which means both teams were perfect on the PK. I know some weren't impressed with Reimer in net for the Sharks, but, he did face 39 shots. His team didn't give him much support. The Sharks other goalie, Aidin Hill, is still on injury reserve.

The Leafs hammered the Kraken. Grubauer was pulled after letting in 3 goals in the 1st period. Marner had 3 points and the Leafs were 2/2 on the PP.

The Jets got jobbed out of a Penalty Shot. On a SH breakaway, Fleury, clearly, threw his stick at a puck while making it look like a diving poke check. But 5 on 5, the Jets had nothing, and fumbled chance after chance.
