Coleman is better in every facet of the game than Anderson. That would be a horrible deal.

Anderson is a possession & defensive black hole, while Coleman is an absolute master in both areas, while also producing 5v5 points & goals at much better rates.

Oh, and he costs $600k less.

Trading Coleman for Anderson straight up would be a great way to make this team significantly worse just to get a bit younger

Konecny all day every day all over toffoli, I mean sure the connection is there but we need to fix the Monahan line fast and I doubt Monahan is apart of it. He’s Arizona bound.

With the backlund line starting to really click, I'm really intrigued at the deadline possibilities. The primary target should be upgrading Ritchie/Dube, with a 2nd line quality winger. I don't think that will be a massive cost, and think there's a lot of options considering who they're trying to upgrade.

Flames need to improve that third line. As bad as Ritchie is, Dube has been worse. Expectations were high for Dube, and he's been pretty much of a dud this year. Turn Dube and Valimaki into a quality finisher and the Flames could be a handful.

I made a point of watching that line specifically during the last game. The problem is definitely Ritchie. I laughed when in the third period Dube and Monahan made an awkward pass to each other rather than watch another play die on the stick of a wide open Ritchie.
