Against that defence up north - not surprised - Smith won that game for them. Russell was injured, so no blocked shots either.

Cassie Campbell announces Hockey like I'd expect from HAL9000.

"It is so good to have fans back in the building Dave. It is extremely exciting and so much fun."

Not just a first effort but a third and fourth effort.

It’s like having George W Bush do colour commentary with all of the phrases she butchers.

Man , he’s nowhere near Sakic , IMO.

He was a very special player and played 200 ft , every night.

I think she adds enjoyment. It allows me to mercilessly mock her poor commentary while watching the game. Helps fill in some of the lulls in action.

Great work by the Flames protecting this lead. They're playing a perfect road game on home ice, and are still pressing and dominating possession.

I like that the Flames were finally getting some respect from the weekend panel.

About time...

Hopefully gone are the days of Oiler segments on Flames games. At least for this season.

Cassie is worse when partnered with Ball, because he is so good the contrast is greater than when she’s with the other guys who aren’t as polished.
