A couple buddies are there, apparently TV doesn't do it justice. They said Old Town Scottsdale was going off last night.

I was there a few years ago and it’s amazing. Scottsdale the night before was crazy, but the golf tournament was a whole different experience. Just so fun to be there.

Lots of talk of this new Saudi league. Rumours seem to be that Bryson is going for sure, maybe Phil, Dustin Johnson, and Patrick Reed. Lee Westwood, Poultier, Fleetwood and some other Europeans also linked.
Rory, Rahm, Morikawa seem to be the most outspoken against it.
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. The guys who go to it will likely be banned from the PGA tour for a while it sounds like.

They have a lot of money, obviously, but I just can't it working when the biggest star is gonna be 51 (soon to be 52) year old Phil. Phil is a big draw, no doubt, but most weeks he'll be playing for DFL.

Dechambeau is going to be the face of that tour or whatever they want to call it.
Still though...they might get a dozen or so guys to jump ship....who wants to watch that and a bunch of b level pros just because the purses will be huge?
Also some really sad news in golf today...
Oakland Hills CC gutted by fire.
It has hosted six U.S. Opens, three PGA championships and a Ryder Cup, among other major events.

They will sill host tournaments in NA....it isnt a Euro/Asia thing only.
Adam Scott has hinted that he might jump as well. He and Norman are really tight.
So your biggest names thus far are Phil, Scott, Dechambeau, Hoffman and some fringe Euro tour guys.
Yeah...people will be lining up to go see that group.
