So I'm getting the sense that FCE may actually be a loan destination for other teams this season? As in, a place for each team's development players to get playing time. I don't think this is going to be the only loan announcements going to Edmonton in the coming weeks.
Bit of a #### show in Edmonton, but this kind of makes sense.
The other owners have to pay Edmonton's bills until an owner is found. They are trying to protect the integrity of the league by keeping Edmonton around, while also spending as little as possible on a club that is not theirs.
By signing players and loaning them to Edmonton, they keep the player's rights while trying to put out a better product on the pitch. The idea being that a better team on the pitch hopefully draws more people to games. Which then makes Edmonton look better to potential new ownership groups, and hopefully softens the financial blow of having to cover another club's operating expenses.
Now if Cavalry can promptly loan Di Chiara to Edmonton and sign Charlie Trafford to replace him, I will be a happy man.

Decided to take the plunge on Cavs season tickets. On their site it says "this event has available promo codes" - anyone know what they are?

I don't think there are promo codes for season tickets? Sometimes they have them promo codes for single game or away supporter tickets. I know you get discounts on merch with it at the club shop.
