We shipped out 4 midfielders, which is a lot of pressure for the new guys. We did have a lot of deadwood to move, but I would’ve wanted to see another incoming or two to bolster things. That said, we have a backup for every position, aside from Kane. Conte seems to think Son or Bergwijn can fill that role though, so we’ll see how it goes.

Kulusevski has played up top for Sweden too
No Europe and only FA Cup left though, so Kane will start every game I imagine as long as healthy

Speaking of the FA Cup, it’s not being shown this weekend because Sportsnet has the Olympics and NHL All Star game on all of their estimated 10 channels? At least from what I could see?
No idea why they couldn’t “only” show those on say 3 channels and put a game or two on one of the other Sportsnet channels.

Pretty pleased with that Transfer Window overall.
Luis Diaz looks very promising and it seems they also signed Fabio Carvalho who will join next season which surely promises many 'Fabio' jokes.

I thought the Fabio deal didn’t get done in time though? Still time for someone to swoop in and screw Liverpool!

Steve Hitchen has left Tottenham to become the DoF at Everton! I'm so happy with that, as its good news for us. This has to be a positive for Locke, as Everton was already in shambles and now having him there will only exacerbate their woes!

I look upon Everton similarly to how Arsenal fans look upon Spurs. By hardly giving them a thought.
Sure, I take pleasure in Lucy consistently pulling the Football away but for the most part I rarely think about Everton at all.
When we play them I want Liverpool to destroy them, beyond that they generally take care of their woes all by themselves.

There's a classic example of a rule problem.
A clear handball missed by Taylor.
But Var can't call it back as he didn't score directly. System is supposed to be in place to help refs but in this case it it can't.

despite all of this, United really only have themselves to blame. Should have already been up multiple goals when the handball happened. Missed pen, woodwork, numerous good chances ... no excuses really.
