Ugh. A one goal loss to the Panthers. Can’t be losing games to teams below us in the standings, even if they are on a hot streak. Not good. Not good.

Will be breaking up Giroux and Couturier to spread some scoring. Going back to the old pre Couts injury lines, that had seen some success.

Absolute domination by Toronto just to pick up a skin of the teeth victory.

The front office still believes the Leafs have a small chance of rallying for a playoff spot but tonight's game versus Tampa will be a massive one in that regard.

Kinda figured a loss was coming to the Wild, it was a pretty competitive game though. Looks like my goaltending has stabalized which is good.

My team is very mediocre right now, including due to injuries, but we seem to be treading water in the standings. But I'm just not entirely happy with the team. Doesn't feel capable of a deep run.

The Binnington I expected has finally shown up. Pulled in two of the last three games. Time to prep that rocket again!

Loss in a shootout. Only one penalty called for the whole game!

LA has had trouble against it's own division all year. That could end up being the difference in the season. Jokiharju's penalty was probably for hugging.

Quote:
1st period
No Goal

Penalties :
Henri Jokiharju (LAK) for Holding (Minor) at 3:50

2nd period
1. L.A. Kings , Jakob Silfverberg 12 (Miro Heiskanen 28) at 5:52
2. Edmonton Oilers , Anthony Beauvillier 14 (Adrian Kempe 7, Samuel Girard 31) at 12:50
3. L.A. Kings , Henri Jokiharju 7 (David Perron 14, Cam Atkinson 14) at 17:03

Penalties :
No Penalty

3rd period
4. Edmonton Oilers , Anthony Beauvillier 15 (Vladislav Gavrikov 8) at 8:16

Penalties :
No Penalty

Overtime #1

Huge win vs the division leading Sens. The 3rd period was the difference as we potted 4 goals for the 7-3 win.

We have found some Chemistry with Nurse on the shelf. So we will need to find a spot to fit him in the lineup next game. Brannstrom has also played wel l since his call up and will be hard to sit him out when Dermott returns.

There are a couple forwards in talks to move and that may happen before long.

15 penalties in the bad-tempered Florida derby. Only 1 PPG.

Carolina picked apart Matt Murray with 3 goals in 3 minutes of the 1st. We made it interesting with 3 goals to tie the game up but the powerhouse Canes proved why they are the best team in the league and shut us out in the 3rd to take the win.

Sharks find a way to pull it out vs a surging Ducks team. Not only did we hang on for the win, we took out Ekblad in the process. The top line was quiet today but the 2nd and 3rd continue to chip in, anytime we can score 5 without anything from the top line we'll take it!

The injury occurred when Ekblad attempted to stick his middle finger out to his former GM MJK when it was swiftly bitten by Tanev resulting in "Aaron Ekblad is out for 1 week because of a Sprained Right Finger Injury".

About to leap frog the Preds soon in the Standings, that will be fun.
