Yesterday was a really rough day. But, my grandson got to come for his first sleepover with us. We watched some Spiderman (because Spidey is his guy), had a good sleep, had breakfast, did some shopping, played with toys, watched some more shows and we made a birthday cake for my son, whose birthday is tomorrow. His mom & my son are coming for a birthday supper tonight after work.
That really really improved my day/mood and made me happy. Grandkids are a lot of fun.

I got to turn my alarm off today and it will stay that way for a month. Except for Monday when I have a 6 AM check in, my only alarm for the next 5 weeks will be my son who we meet on Monday.

My parents became changed people when they first became grandparents. Pretty sure they haven't been in a bad mood since like 2011.

Well we've been together now for 6 years, and not once have we done anything special for valentine's day. I bought her flowers and chocolate for the first one, and she thanked me but said flowers are a waste of money. We're both like that for every "special" day though, we don't do birthday or Christmas gifts for each other. Instead we'll just go out for a nice dinner or a family day trip somewhere. The only reason she looks forward to Valentine's Day is that it means a very busy month for her home based beauty spa. She's been making some ridiculous money the past week
