Realistically this is why the flames need to acquire two top 9 forwards at the deadline. Push guys like Ritchie and Dube either to the fourth line or taxi squad or Stockton because it’s just not tenable to have below replacement level guys in the top 9

People are rightfully skeptical about if the Sutter hiring was his call.
Truth is, it doesn’t matter who’s call it was, it was the right move and he’s an elite legendary coach and now they look like a real force. Time to just enjoy the success they are having.
