Weird, but I have a good feeling about the 3rd period. They haven't played their best yet and some of the shots off the iron will go start going in. I'll say 4-3 Flames.
You know the team is up and down when the pregame broadcast's effort to pump up how great Oettinger is has to resort to showing us his stats over his last two games to help sell the viewer.

It's like a bunch of dogs with a shock collar and the barrier is the center line. Don't cross it with the puck or they get shocked, so they just chip it in and let the Flames re-rack.
Otter is on his game tonight, so hopefully it'll mean we get the full two points, but how can such an entertaining and dangerous team in the second period turn into this squad to start the third?

To be fair, I feel for the Stars fans. They have a lot of potential offensive weapons but are so hit and miss in their games. Even tonight when it was a more open run and gun game they looked pretty decent, then the 3rd rolled around and they sort of shut it down. If they would have just kept the foot on the gas they probably would have been ok. They've done this multiple times under Bowness. Surprised he's still there.
