Valimaki assessed automatic three-game AHL suspension for physical abuse of officials

Valimaki was involved in a post-whistle scrum with Ontario Reign captain Brett Sutter. The two have a history: Sutter injured Valimaki with a high hit back on Jan. 9, causing him to miss three weeks (he only just returned tonight).
After being restrained, Valimaki pushed the official wearing No. 38 (Alec Rounds) to try and get back at Sutter and the rest of the Reign. The play will go under AHL presidential review but there isn't much in terms of grounds for the automatic suspension to be overturned.

Like I said in the other thread, I don't think he's going to be in this franchise for very long. I don't think Sutter likes him, and he's a trade chip.

Be sure to watch the clip Scorp linked to of Sutter's hit on Valimaki that injured him for three weeks. I don't blame Juuso for being pissed, especially since missing most of January didn't really help his case for getting recalled any time soon.

this will have no impact on Darryl's relationship with Jusso
if anything, he will be happy to see Jusso has added some edge to his game
