Ritchie really did a number on Hughes' lip. That looks painful.
The more I think about it, the more it annoys me that high sticking is a penalty though. We have the technology (cages) to stop these injuries.
If a player doesn't want to wear a cage, they're not eligible to be high sticked.

Yeah I thought the interference on Tkachuk was super obvious, and that kind of thing going on in the NHL just makes me sad. If it's McDavid, it's a penalty.
So a reverse non-call a little later... okay.

Nice snipe by Johnny in OT. Went off script and put it low blocker which I'm sure caught Demko by surprise.
Frustrating game as you have the sinking feeling some freak bounce for the Canucks might find it's way into the net. These are weird games where you go out East, play the next night and are home for another game with only a day off before going back on the road. So glad to pick up a win here and hopefully collect two more on this road trip.
