A ton of what?
Why would the wings do it if they think they can re-sign him?

No.
He’s over a point a game and responsible player , who is their Captain.
He’s going nowhere.

Around the start of the season there was a little chatter about if Larkin was the right fit going forward. Definitely has died down though with the season he is having.

Larkin is from Michigan, played college hockey in Michigan, and is the first Michigan-born captain for the NHL's Michigan-based team.

The last GM we are going to win a trade with is Yzerman, let alone getting a young center captain like Larkin for a young team just turning the corner who is building and growing correctly.

Conor Garland would fit this team like a glove. I love how feisty he is. Doesn't back down from anyone, drives the net, pretty skilled, and obviously a positional need. I would be all over that from a Flames stand point.
Zadorov and maybe Pitlick would need to be included for cap purposes... but a 2022 1st + 2nd 2022 Florida
Only 25 with a good cap-hit.
(Note: I would only do this if Brad Treliving felt very confident in signing Johnny and Matt longterm)

Garland is a fine player but man do we need more $5M 2nd/3rd liners?

Likely cost at least a 1st and one of the best prospects. Lots of teams would be bidding for Garland.

Well, a second liner like Garland, yes. How much do you want to pay a second line scorer?
RHS RW who scores 20/80? Yeah.

Return the favour?? Could be a Bennett type add for Calgary, big body, young, RHS RW. Checks a lot of boxes.

Presumably the panthers would only trade Tippett for something for a cup run. We are probably not trading them that piece.

I think they don’t want the hassle of his RFA negotiations. he hasn’t worked out there very well. So it might not be that bad.

Tippet on the Flames would be amazing. I think he'd be a good fit but what do they need? Heck, what do they even want?

Tippett isn't very good, all the tools no toolbox type.
