Flames At Blues 6PM MT - SN1, BSMW
Flames back in action tonight on their current 2 game trip after a big 6-0 win in Columbus last night. In St Louis who they just played a couple nights ago and beat handily 7-1, see if the Blues show up tonight.

Taking a while to get to 5000

The last couple of days the thought has been "well the Blues are going to be an angry bunch" or "they'll be ready to play this time" etc.
Bring it.

Last 2 games have redeemed dropping the ball in Edmonton. This was going to be a tough W regardless of what happened Monday.
Go flames go, gonna be a tough one... I would prefer the W this coming Saturday night more than tonight if I had to choose though.

Almost guaranteed.
Cant see any way the Blues trot Binnington back out against the team he was just shelled by.

That might work in our favour, teams looking to get even tend to make mistakes defensively trying to score goals.

this is probably going to be a fantastic hockey game - Flames are flying, and the Blues have a chip on their shoulder.
The first 10 minutes are probably going to look like playoff hockey.
Really hoping for a strong game from Vladar, after his last one was a bit shaky.

Blues will definitely come out flying tonight. Flames just need to weather the storm early in the 1st, and they'll be fine. Unlike the last couple of games, I think this one will be low scoring. I'm gonna say 3-2 Flames.

Blue's will come out hard. They're that old guy that has to sit on a donut for a week because what happened had to make their butts sore. If the Flames can weather that, and take care of the details they'll eak this one out. But I doubt its going to be another blow out.
These are two very good teams.

I posted this in the Flames-BJs PGT, it's good to post it here too.
The Flames have been increasing their shots on goal in the past 5 games. They had 28 against the Sens, 31 on the Panthers, 47 on the Oilers, 48 against the Blues, and now 62 on the BJs. Do we see 63 or more shots tonight against the Blues?

Definitely. Start will be very important. Need to match the energy the Blues bring, and be disciplined as well.

That may be the exact reason they do play Binnington - redemption.

Kind of a shame Vladar didn't get last night's start given the team likely cruises to the win regardless of the netminder. The Blues likely want to atone for Monday night and it feels like a game you would rather start your number one goaltender.

You can make this argument over and over, either way.
At the end of the day, each goalie is going to get one start.
Maybe the St Louis game also turns out to be a game that was a win (or a loss), regardless of who was in net - you never know.
The idea is to get at least two points from the two games - they have done that and now have a chance for more.
