That must be it, I specifically remember the 12-2, mind you I smoked a lot of pot back then lol.

Johnny’s been ahead of McDavid before this deep into the season. I remember in seasons past, I believe in both 17-18 and 18-19, Johnny was ahead of McDavid and only second to Kucherov in NHL scoring. It’s always been his rough February and March’s that have killed his pace.

But something tells me he and his line should be fine this season. His current line doesn’t rely on the rush as much as his previous lines did. His current line is just as effective dumping and chasing, checking and creating on the cycle which is how you have to score late in the season.

No all star/Olympic break to kill the momentum.

Look how that’s played out the last two games with Ruzicka in instead of Richardson.

We might get 80 shots if we take out Ritchie for Phillips.

I know this team gets run down for not being deep, and I can understand that.

But you're out of your mind if you think this isn't a good team.

Seriously, no team is perfect. The Flames are playing very well lately but Richardson and Ritchie are still significant detriments most nights.

Not worth focusing on that tonight, though. I would really like to see the Flames load up for a playoff run.

Well thats a spin i have never heard.

A GM is getting "carried" by the guys he hired as is his job by definition....and thats a bad thing?

Wut?

Another spectacular effort by the team. Have to give credit where credit is due, I was very impressed with the Backlund and Monahan lines again tonight. Even when the game was in the balance, I thought they were great on both sides of the ice and all 4 lines managed to get on the board which is a rarity. This might even be the first instance this season. Regardless, good to see some much needed secondary scoring. Hopefully all 4 lines show hp tomorrow because it should be a much stiffer test against one pissed off team.

Not good teams can't do the last two games on their best day
