After a 7-1 thumping of the Blues last game, the Flames are out on a 2 game roadtrip starting tonight in Columbus, see if they can carry on playing well and get back on track.

I expect it will be difficult to get two points in St. Louis so this is a game they need to win to make up ground with their games at hand. I assume Vladar may get this start with Markstrom going the start against the Blues.

First game of a back to back, so it is important to get a win. Blues will be ready for us tomorrow, after the embarrassment they received on Monday.
Hopefully Mangiapane-Backlund-Coleman can have a multi-point night and get involved in some more depth scoring on this road trip.

Was supposed to be at this game, but with Covid running rampant in Ohio and nobody wearing masks or taking precautions there, we decided against it....and got Covid (son and wife so far) anyway.
 Flames win 5-2.

Going to be a road trip that surprises many. Flames win tonight and tomorrow despite St Louis bringing their best game.

Sorry to hear. This is one of those games we should bank 2 points. GFG.

The Blues are a great team, but the Flames seem to get up for great teams.
Hoping for 2 points in any fashion as it's going to be a tough one.

Maybe Tkachuk will put on another 5 point night showcasing himself for his new bosses? |

Crazy that all 16 eastern conference away games will be done after just 38 games.

Well, TBF, a lot of the conversation before your post was about the Blues (I think that’s the next game).

With Monahan playing better, I'd like to see a swap between he and Backlund.

If the Flames can win tonight with a good effort they will have won 3 of 4 with a good effort in all 4 games. That will go a long way towards making me believe the post Covid slump is over.

Coleman has been better off late and is finding his stride with Backlund. Not sure how he will respond to the swap.
