			Twas The Night Before Finals
 Twas the night before finals,
 And all through the college,
 The students were praying
 For last minute knowledge.

 Most were quite sleepy,
 But none touched their beds,
 While visions of essays
 Danced in their heads.

 Out in the taverns,
 A few were still drinking,
 And hoping that liquor
 Would loosen up their thinking.

 In my own apartment,
 I had been pacing,
 And dreading exams
 I soon would be facing.

 My roommate was speechless,
 His nose in his books,
 And my comments to him
 Drew unfriendly looks.

 I drained all the coffee,
 And brewed a new pot,
 No longer caring
 That my nerves were shot.

 I stared at my notes,
 But my thoughts were muddy,
 My eyes went ablur,
 I just couldn't study.

 "Some pizza might help,"
 I said with a shiver,
 But each place I called
 Refused to deliver.

 I'd nearly concluded
 That life was too cruel,
 With futures depending
 On grades had in school.

 When all of a sudden,
 Our door opened wide,
And Patron Saint Put It Off
 Ambled inside.

 His spirit was careless,
 His manner was mellow,
 He started to bellow:

 "What kind of student
 Would make such a fuss,
 To toss back at teachers
 What they tossed at us?"

"On Cliff Notes! On Crib Notes!
 On last year's exams!
 On Wingit and Slingit,
 And last minute crams!"

 His message delivered,
 He vanished from sight,
 But we heard him laughing
 Outside in the night.

 "Your teachers have pegged you,
 So just do your best.
 Happy Finals to All,
And to All, a good test."

I didn't write it but i needed to say it....stupid saturday exams :darnkids:

Me and a few friends did come up with part of another version though.....
 'Twas the night before finals,
 and all through the frats,
 not a creature was stirring,
 not even at RATT

 Most were quite drunk,
 And none touched their books,
While all of the first years,
 fretted about looks

 While over in SUB,
Many were still deep in study,
 And hoping that more craming
 Would their brain un-muddy.

 Library of Science
 open now nights and days,
 while having study,
 curses all to stay

And in front of the main gym,
 all crammed to high heaven.
 Stood students all eager for
 seats in row "seven".

I swear, the government needs to implement laws against too many tests in a week, i'm writing my 5th in five days tomorrw...and am finding it impossible to study for this last one. Oh well, there are people with worse schedules out there, I know somebody doing 5 in 3 days.

I'd like to register a complaint about the steady infiltration of religious content that has insidiously been creeping onto this board!!!

Well at the risk of alienating all fellow students here, I just want to say...I HAD NO FINALS...mwahahahhahaa. Three full year classes + two lazy profs = NO FINALS. I did have a term paper for my entire mark in the one class, however, which I just finished last night. It was long...and boring...and not fun...but that's ok, because I HAD NO FINALS!!!! and now I'm done. I'm sorry...don't hate me. |

Took only 4 courses this semester. 2 with the same prof, no final in either.
So I had 2 finals. Monday and Wednesday this week.
So I had it easy. Yet I am only batting .500, I know I did terrible on the second one.
