I protected Backlund on here for the better part of the last 5 years.

I think he's gotten to a point this season where I can no longer defend anything he does out there.

Decrepit shell of his former self.

Edit: and probably the one player you'd think would fit Sutter hockey like a glove?! Go figure.

But.......he's not shoving it to any haters. He's shoving it to the team you apparently cheer for and want to win. Unless you're not a Flames fan then it makes more sense.

I understand why and normally our crowd is pretty quiet generally anyway but this team is gonna spend like 80% of the next two months at home so having a packed house and actual chance for home ice advantage would have been nice.

A night like tonight where they are working really hard they’d be getting good love from the crowd and it would legit help.
