I did a superficial search through the posts, but haven't found anything.
Did anyone take CBC's (Test the Nation) online IQ test? Any surprises?
Maybe we could have a poll with test score ranges if enough people are interested....
EDIT: Sorry, post corrected. See posts below for links.

Perhaps some links to creditable IQ test sites?

Hmm...well I would say to do it for fun, but you will have a hard time finding credible ones online. Also, there is debate to whether IQ tests are any good/relevant/biased against different people/even measure anything in the first place/etc....

Are you talking about the one that CBC has been advertising? That "test the nation" ad they've been running?

I think this thread is refering to the Test The Nation show CBC had on Sunday night.

There was an online IQ test that a bunch of people on here did a while ago. Strangely enough everyone on CP is over 6' tall, goes to the gym all the time, and had an IQ in the top percentile of the stanine.

Yes, I was referring to the CBC test. I apologize for not being specific enough, I lost some of the info in various post edits. Work interruptions...
I thought Test the Nation would be as good as any test. I guess it does provide a general idea where one stands since you can compare the results with the group in the CBC studio and the online test takers. The test itself was not that hard overall--I have seen a few easier ones, though.
If you do end up taking it, it might be a good idea to provide the right age because they seem to adjust the score based on it.

121 :/
Cool test though, the math raped me. Reminded me a lot of the LSAT.

I got 132, but I couldn't use the sound, so I probably got two of the memory ones wrong because of that.
Kinda of a fun test actually.

Speaking of getting raped... I kind of sucked at perception and math (8/12 and 9/12, respectively). The amount of time given was definitely not enough for me in a few of those. I guess doing this test fast is a part of it. Still, I didn't do that poorly for a guy with ADD.
I bet that I have one of the lowest salary $ per IQ point ratio among the meaningfully employed Albertans, though.

I think percentile scores are more meaningful than IQ scores, but, whatever.

Wow that was really neat to do, thanks. I got a 136. I got all the math ones correct. The perception one is where I lost some points.
