Complete farce today with Arsenal being able to postpone the game tomorrow. Apparently they don’t have enough players. It’s beyond ridiculous to allow this. They loaned a couple players out this week, have a few at AFCON and a few guys have minor injuries. They have one Covid case.
Teams have injuries. It’s just what happens. Now we’re just letting teams push games off because they can’t field their preferred squad? Unreal. This should be a forfeit, along with with a further points deduction. There’s no way that this should have been postponed.

Boy Everton sure do suck, surely this is it for Rafa if they don't rally.

I'm glad the club statement called out the league for this, Neville did as well
It was supposed to be about avoiding spread of covid, but it's now being used by clubs if they dont have their best squad available

De Gea having a hell of a game today, and the worst goal let in I’ve ever seen by Martinez making this a tough one for Villa. Bring on Coutinho!

this is why United are where they are. So fragile mentally ... this one should be over once you're up 2-0.

Fragile mentally for sure, but the midfield continues to be totally unacceptable. Villa have mostly dominated this half and United were lucky both goals were gifted to them.

I can’t be the only one hoping that Rangnick uses his power to appoint himself as manager this spring. It would be magnificent!

I dont know, from all appearances Rangnick seems smart and capable, apart from having a lot of talented players Rangnick appeared to inherit a veritable mess of a squad overall.
I think if given the keys he could realistically do a very good job.
And besides, loathing Manchester United aside, I find it really difficult to ascertain any meaningful information or predictions based on the performances at the moment.
I mean, look at all the different factors going on, you've got players out with COVID, games being postponed and canceled, half-empty stadiums, schedule congestion, illness and injuries, AFCON, other Cup games rescheduled....
You could go on and on. This season at this point is a complete mess.
At least before when they paused Competition everything just stayed more or less the same, just delayed. This is a complete #### sandwich.
So how do you evaluate much in the way of the performances of managers, players and clubs with all of that subsequent background noise?

Usual ignorant tripe.
As usual take the time to familiarize yourself with the rules before posting.
LOL! Forfeit! Points deduction! Automatic relegation!
Give us a laugh and explain on what grounds exactly they should be penalized.

With Arsenal having fewer than the required number of players available for the match (13 outfield players and one goalkeeper), the Board accepted the club’s application.
The decision is a result of a combination of COVID-19, existing and recent injuries and players on international duty at the Africa Cup of Nations. All clubs are able to apply for a postponement if COVID-19 infections are a factor in their request.

Within the rules.

So Champions league is still with DAZN for a couple more seasons? What a pain in the ass that is. I liked the value of having the PL, CL, and NFL, but that takes a massive hit now. I love the CL, but I’m always working when the games are on.
