Why Can't We Beat Sens
Huge win, eh, Euge? A 4-1 W for your team! Murray, hurray!
What now? Team's lost 8 of the last 10 and the arena news aren't sounding great unlike before.

Getting dominated by Ottawa and out-goalied by Matt ####ing Murray is as pathetic as pathetic gets

What a sorry display. Team Inept continues to crater.

The past 4 games have dramatically tempered my expectations for this team. Suddenly it's a dogfight just to make the playoffs.
Not sure what else to say. A person tries to stay optimistic, but it's becoming increasingly difficult...

We have regressed to the mean and beyond with a consensus terrible general manager.
Not much to be hopeful about folks.

Their goalie was better than ours. Their effort was better than ours. Their hustle was better than ours. Their execution was better than ours.
Pretty sad to get owned by a bottom feeder. This game was not close, and the better team easily won.
I fully expect Edmonton to destroy this team on Saturday to tie the Flames in points, and for the Flames to get absolutely destroyed by the Panthers next week to stretch this losing streak to 5.

Absolutely embarrassing. And they can't even use the rusty excuse because Ottawa was even more rusty.

Honestly the coaching staff (and players) lost this game before it even started. The line 2-4 forward lines have not worked in those combinations all year.
Pitlick-Backlund-Coleman: 49.4% xGF% this year
Mangiapane- Dube - Richie: 49.8% xGF% this year
Lucic - Monahan - Lewis: 43.4% xGF this year
Put all of them together in the same game and this was always going to be the result. Unsurprisingly all three of those lines struggled tonight.

Flames need a rebuild and a luck. Otherwise this team never will win the cup.

Same kind of things the Oilers were saying when they started their slide...

Flames with 55.35% XGA and lose 4-1. Markstrom handily outplayed by Murray, and tons of passengers on the Flames.
Time for Tre to make some changes.

Looks like we are trending back to the mushy middle yet again. Perpetual frustration for us as fans.

I am sure glad we can give Murray confidence. I was really worried about his career!! Just brutal, we have to many passengers and individuals with boneheaded mistakes. Need a shakeup on the roster, not to sure if that is splitting up the top line or moving a couple players.

Effect of COVID. What other silly excuses you can come up with?
