Lowry tore something in January 2004, no one thought he’d be back.

As mentioned he was on the bench. Came back finally for a playoff game vs Detroit, hurt again.

Came back in against the Sharks. Got the green hard hat one game for his preserverence, and next win, he gave it to Turek for being a rock solid backup after getting publically crapped on (Sutter didn’t play Turek at home again) in after a January loss to Tampa.

Also, his intentional flip of the puck into the crowd to get a whistle and allow Berube out of the box is legendary in the Ducks brawl.

Inches away from being the primary assist in Marcus Nilson’s game 6 OT winner vs Tampa midway through OT1.
