So Djokovic tested positive on December 16.

In that article it states that he was photographed, without a mask, at an event the day after he tested positive.

There had been no prior announcement of Djokovic's Covid infection, which was confirmed by a PCR test on 16 December.

But on 17 December, Djokovic posted images to Twitter of his maskless appearance at a ceremony in which he was honoured with his own Serbian postage stamps in recognition for his achievements.

According to news agency AFP, also on 17 December, he posed maskless with young players at the Novak tennis centre.

Tennis Australia told players that a covid infection made them exempt from having to be vaccinated. In November Australia told Tennis Australia that covid infections are not a reason to be exempt from vaccination.

So I really don't think Novax has a ground to stand on. Tennis Australia isn't the ruling body on who can or cannot enter the country. He is appealing and if his appeal is denied he can be banned from Australia for 3 years. Sounds good to me. I'm tired of entitled creating a separate set of rules for themselves.

The French Open already confirmed they will let the Novaxx play without a vaxx. I'm pretty sure his fans will cause an outbreak.

What we do know is that Novaxx Djokovic doesn't give a #### about anyone but himself. How can he test positive on one day but be at an event, unmasked the next day? He's an entitled pick and he's trying to show that rules don't apply to him.

Apparently if they can prove he's lying he could get a three year entry ban from Australia which would obviously be the end of him competing down there.

I mean, the ATP has been crickets regarding the Zverev "investigation", no surprise that they have been silent here. It's also no surprise that Vasek is coming to Novak's defense as they are pretty good friends. In my opinion, nobody has handled this situation well and it doesn't help when you have the Victoria government clashing with the Australian federal government and Tennis Australia working behind the scenes trying to get Novak into the tourney.

As Rafa stated above though, Novak knew the rules and the easiest way to gain entry into the tourney and decided the rules don't apply to him.
