That is a lot of money on the bottom half of the roster, and I just don’t know how you overcome something like that. If you look at how Carolina has it spread around, almost everyone they have slotted in the same spots as us are significantly better players.

By getting great value from Gaudreau, Lindholm, Mangiapane and Kylington.

It’s not a crisis, no one thought this was a Stanley Cup winning roster. But you can be competitive with this team IMO. The GM needs to address some things though and he hasn’t been up to the task up to now.

There's speculation he might have tweaked something against Florida but unless something has been announced that I haven't heard nothing has been officially announced. It's either that or Sutter hoping that starting Vladar again after a good start would spark the team.
