Its gross but it shows where their priorities lie, just like postponing games with attendance restrictions. It just a business.

Not sure I'd call the bottom line in a 50/50 revenue share model that determines the cap as gross.

They have to think that way.

It's why I stay out of politics. Kenney on the right, Trudeau on the left ... but neither are doctors and are doing their best to take medical advice and weight 100% economics vs 100% public health to find the sweet spot on the slide rule.

Any guesses on the resale market if you get "stuck" with tickets?

For a variety of reasons I'm not all that interested in going. Hoping if I get allotted tickets I can move them for cost and move on.

On one hand they're limited so that says value.
On the other they're limited in enjoyment which says less value.

I've had my Ottawa tickets listed on TicketExchange for about 5 days, and they haven't sold. I am guessing the resale market is close to zero.

The tickets are listed for the minimum allowed, which is about a $25 loss on the pair for me. They are White Center Ice, row 13, which have a pretty good dollar value. They always sell at this price normally.

The players dont have to agree. Its already been collectively bargained for and i can assure you, they WANT that weekend as it adds millions to the HRR which adds millions to their share of the $$$$.

Per my rep, they said that most of the games, as they get rescheduled, would be reissued to the account that currently owns them, not the original ticketholder.

Also mentioned that a couple of the games (Dec 27th and 31st I believe) would be back in the original ticketholder's hands due to something they were doing with them re: 50% capacity before they were cancelled.

So if you bought one of those games, keep open lines of communication open with the ticketholder you purchased from so they can re-transfer once those games are rescheduled.
