Florida really puts pressure on the blue line; we turned over a lot of pucks high and they got more odd man rushes than I'm comfortable with.
Great at generating offense from their defense too.

Without verifying it, I feel like the same can be said about the Flames being near the tips in every metric as well. Yet one probably wouldn't have guessed that by reading through the general consensus of the board at times where it feels instead like the Flames are on the edge of collapse

Need it to be a chess match.

Can't play the panthers style in their building and think that your chances will be good.

Markstrom, I know a couple were deflected, but we could sure use some difficult saves here.

Flames can counter punch...and force a lead. Time to start getting excited about this team...if people weren't already. I've got the Florida feed going and they are showing how well we're playing the panthers. Another poster said its a heavy weight tilt and it is.

The Flames are also near the top of every metric as well, because they too are a great team.

In fact, they had the edge by a decent amount 5v5 that period, but the PK was a massive letdown

Rasmus actually has great stats this year.

When he's been good it's been stealthy and unnoticed. When he's bad it's glaring and people have grilled him.

Overall the body of work has been more good than bad. But yes, he sure has some stinker periods when he's not going. It's usually the opening frame.

I don’t put a tonne of stock in ‘metrics’. To be clear though that’s a good team by any test. No arguments.

I didnt get a sense of dominance. They aren’t Tampa or Colorado - edit: in my 1 period of viewing. I don’t pretend to have watching their games.
