Back in those days my Dad was trying to deal pirated Sattelite Dish chips on the side. So I didn't have to put up with that pain. I could watch any game I wanted. Learned how good the NFL was at making sure 6 games went to commercial break at the same time.
But I think the Seattle or Spokane affiliate would air the CBS early game and NBC would show the Seahawk late game. In those days they didn't show double headers on the same network as Blackout rules were a lot tougher.

I guess Dave Dickenson is coaching for the Packers tonight. Why the hell would you waste a challenge on that???

I get that Sean Mannion is, well, Sean Mannion, but surely the Vikings can get more than 30 yards of offense in a half even with Sean Mannion. Pretty cowardly play calling with your season on the line, you're probably gonna lose either way so you might as well take some chances.

Hey now that’s Dave Krieg from Milton college! A school so random it doesn’t even exist anymore
Anyways that’s new school for those of us who go back to Jim Zorn

Yep and the Mariners before they were cool.
I didn’t hate the Jim Zorn-Steve Largent Seahawks for a while there.

Anyone know when they announce the flexed games? Got to imagine the raiders-chargers game will be flexed to Saturday night or Sunday night.

I would think so. I'd guess that the Niners and Rams will be one of the Saturday games. The other one maybe they pick Ravens and Steelers if the Steelers win tomorrow.

Chargers-Raiders will be Sunday night as while it would not be a win and in if the Jags somehow beat the Colts.....yeah. So it's a win and in. Saturday is more open as they are games that only have to have "playoff implications", so yeah Baltimore-Pittsburgh and Rams-Niners make sense, Dallas-Philly might get in for the Cowboys factor.

The last time Indy won in Jacksonville was 2014 so it's not out of the question.

So Chiefs and Broncos, followed by Eagles and Cowboys. Guess they plan to have them all play the Saturday playoff game. .except for Denver.

For the nfc
AFC is easier
Raiders/chargers winner gets in
Chargers out no matter what if they lose
Raiders could also get in if colts lose to jacksonville and Pittsburgh doesnt win tomorrow and next week
Steelers get in if they win out and indy loses to jags
Ravens need to beat steelers, jags beat colts, raiders beat chargers, dolphins beat Pats, browns have to lose once

I dont think they can factor that in
I'm guessing nfl wanted playoff scenarios in the sunday late window playing at same times
So espn just chose biggest franchise draws
I'd be shocked if cowboys werent on Sunday night or monday night in the wildcard round

Fairly stunning that after as much of a mess the Saints season has been, if they beat Atlanta next weekend and the Niners lose to the Rams (who are playing for the division title), they're in the playoffs. A Bucs vs Saints wild card game would be interesting..

If you're the Titans do you give Henry 10 carries next week just to shake the rust off or do you sit him and hope your team beats the Texans without him which would give him an extra 21 days before he plays?

Dude hasnt played in 2 months...im thinking he is as rested/fresh as one can be.
Give him at least 2 or 3 series to get up to game speed once again.
