Watching a stream of the Hawks broadcast, these guys have no clue who any of the Flames are. Every player is Mangiapane. Center? Mangiapane. Right-handed? Mangiapane. 6'6" D-man? Believe it or not, Mangiapane.

I would kill for the Flames to have a 6'6 Mangiapane.

Ninja...the missed year really took a lot out of Toews, honestly, the miles on him seems to have worn him down. He is just no longer a #1 line kind of guy, and the 'Hawks have failed , for years to get him a linemate, besides Kane, who they want on a different line, for balance, that compliments him. He is no longer worth the $10.5 million/season, but, that is the price through the 2023 season, and he had had a good run up to last year.

Calgary had 7 more shots in the second period tonight than Edmonton had in their entire game yesterday which included overtime. LMAO!!!

He seemed to really click with Kubalik the last 2 years I think.

Kubalik on the 3rd line now though, is he just a shell of his former self?

Everyone knew that contract would finish painfully, that's the price for cups.

Well, well worth it.

The 'Hawks have been using a rotating cast to try out for the retiring HOF PBP guy, Pat Foley, after decades of top notch broadcasting, it has been amateur hour for Chicago fans.

SN giving Lucic some overdue love. Thing is about Lucic is he is a) actually deceptively faster than anyone gives credit for this season and b) a very smart player.

Only DeBrincat and Hagel have been consistent on offense. Kane has been, mostly, good, but has also worn down some. Kubalik and Toews were ice cold all through the Fall.

The Flames had as many goals in the second period today as the Oilers had shots in the entire third period and OT yesterday.

BTW...I expect Kubalik to continue to struggle, as trade rumors around him swirl. I some some pundit try to wish the guy to the Greasers.
