It amazes me how rarely we get to see the faceoff on SNET broadcasts.

It's honestly inexcusable to miss them.

Game management non-call on the too many men.

The 'Hawks are a terrible team on faceoffs, and the struggles with the PK have to do with having to chase the puck as soon as it is put in play.

A couple of unfortunate penalties, and the 'Hawks are on their heels.

They’ve called it on Calgary and I was told “that’s automatic”.

Flames had 11 straight shots before the Hawks just got one

I disagree, the extra man was for the Dman changing but neither player was involved in the play as the 2 Chicago forwards touched the puck instead.

The extra man or the player about to step onto the bench needs to touch the puck or make a play on the opposition for it to be too many men.

He was in the way of the Flames breakout though

That happened with the Flames, as I said. I don’t necessarily think it needs a call, but when it happened to the Flames some posters said “no they call that every time”.

Make them pay! Gotta think the refs might give Chicago a "soft" make up call soon after.

But Chicago had the puck, didn't they? Toews dropped it back and the 2nd Chicago forward touched the puck.

Question: What’s up with Toews this year?
