This,
I have seen a ton of mock ups using retro colors that I would scoop up in a heartbeat. I love the traditional ones too so I would be more than ok with them rolling with those for eternity. But there are so many things you can do with red white and gold that would look amazing too.

Didn't Edmonton go back to their retro set for like four years before ditching them for orange and navy?
Calgary is back to full retro for good, I think. Nothing I've heard from the organization suggests there are any plans to ever depart from this look as the primary. It's an iconic look.
That said, I'm partial to the 2004 black C look with the Chevron striping and Blasty shoulders. The contrast is excellent. It would make an ideal alternate look, IMO.

I have seen some very good concepts using only Red, Yellow & White here on CP, but none of them are better that what we are currently wearing.
The current home & away designs are perfect.

Agreed. Current home and always with the ‘04 Red jersey as a third is the perfect set of uniforms.
Rotate in a 4th jersey every few years for a game or two to make money but don’t move away from those three.

I love that jersey but I'm quite fond of the new retros with the white C. Very fatigued on black in jerseys with all the graphite jerseys and such that have been done.
Just add some better shoulder patches and it'll be fine.

If these leaks for the All-Star jerseys are accurate I think that all but confirms the return of the '04 jersey as our thirds next year.
It is clearly the same template that we would use just with altered colours so this could be the NHL using the template for themselves before we put it to use next year
