Got this from my rep regarding NYE game for season ticket holders, still waiting on more information today (apologies if posted already):

Regarding capacity – season ticket members will be the priority for accessing tickets to all games impacted by the reduced capacity and they will also keep their same seats. For any game day ticket buyers (non season ticket members) they will be refunded by Ticketmaster and their tickets will be returned. With the capacity restrictions, there is roughly 1,500 season ticket seats that will be impacted for each game, so we will have to work on a rotation where 1,500 different seats will be impacted for each game. This certainly is not ideal, though we will be as fair as possible when needing to select the ticket members who will be impacted each game. If you are impacted for a game, you will receive an account credit due to the game being removed from your package. At this time, we do not know how long we will have to operate under 50% capacity, though we will communicate all further details with you as soon as we can. At this time, we are not offering any refunds or cancellations to season ticket packages, though we would advise you to look into reselling your tickets for games impacted, if you are not interested in attending games due to lower capacity and/or the food and beverage restriction. Again, definitely not an ideal situation but we’re hopeful this is a short and temporary measure for us to continue playing hockey in front of the C of Red.

Why not, we've had waves before that peak and then drop off. Feb sounds about right to me for start seeing some normality again.

May not work out but not off the table either.

Anyone see the note from the NHL regarding postponing games in Canadian cities that have limited restrictions?

Should be a new thread, first big business to fight against restrictions?

I want absolutely nothing to do with attending games u see these restrictions. I wouldn’t go if they gave me free tickets let alone paying full STH price to sit in a half empty rink wearing a mask the full time and driving from the burbs to do it

I will gladly sell my tickets to any CP member that would want to attend at my cost. Section 223 row 19

Have you contacted the Flames/ your ticket rep? I am thinking you are probably not alone in this; and it would be great if they had an "opt out" list of STHs rather than randomly picking which games we end up missing.

I think rescheduling the Canadian games makes sense. First, it's a logistical nightmare to determine which seats will be active and which will be inactive, and second (and more important), the lost revenue would be devastating.

Get a 1 gallon can of nacho cheese from a food distributor like GFS or something of that ilk.

I wonder how this would work with buying tickets from someone else already. Would they contact us in regards to having our tickets in our Flames wallet or whatever it is?

So they are planning to postpone until restrictions are eased in Canada? That will be 4 or more weeks of no Canadian home games.

That is going to be interesting to see the Flames end the season playing 20 games in 25 days.

On 960 this afternoon they seemed to be suggesting that the nhl will try and postpone games in Canada for a bit as the habs took a $2m hit on their game with no fans before Christmas

Makes sense

What a mess this is going to be. So basically all US road games only, followed by a heavy slate of home and Canadian road games if the restrictions are lifted soon enough. Seems like a gamble on the NHL'S part.

I swear if the Dome branded tall boys of Budwiser and sold them locally in stores there would be no covid and the empty office spaces would start to fill up.

I have been in touch and “volunteered” to have my tickets removed from the 9,600 they will be allowing in. I was told that is not possible but my rep is going to pass it along to see what he can do.

The STH are the ones getting completely screwed here. No discounts we just have to pay the price to attend a game in a brutal atmosphere with no ability to eat, drink or remove our face masks.

I really hope they do have this offer at some point. They are obviously scrambling right now

I offered the flames the same for my game packs tickets. They said not possible.

What a joke.
