Hopefully significantly more coherent and intelligible.
Still hard to believe Craig-era Bond movies had talent like Christoph Waltz and Rami Malek and wasted it on the wet fart villains of the last two movies.
At least Javier Bardem got to be an all timer Bond villain.

I’ve never understood why the Batmobile would be powered by a jet engine. Electric would make so much more sense.
As a guy who drives an electric car I can safely say they are fun to drive but do not look cool at all. And batman would need two, to be ready at any time use one / charge one, use one / charge one.
Makes you wonder how long they'll keep churning out movies like Batman and Spiderman? Seems like there's one every 3-4 years followed by an inevitable reboot.
Not to seem too jaded, but I guess when you have Spiderman basically printing money, why would you stop?
That said, Matt Reeves and Greig Fraser's Batman looks incredible It looks like it's in the same vein as The Dark Knight in terms of theme and tone.

Definitely want to watch that movie.
With Batman there are so many takes you can have on the character and all the villains. I could care less how many come out, as long as they are good.
We never got a full Batman movie with the Affleck Batman. So it still feels like a while since we've had a Batman film.
I actually like what DC is doing with this, having two Batmans going at once. The justice league Batman is an advisory role and it's better played by an older Batman. A lot of the good Batman stories, however, happen early on in his career. Even in the comics the Justice League type stories, where cosmic level villains appear, have a pretty different time from the Noir style detective genre presented in his solo stuff. The comics even went as far as to have comic titles and one shot novels that are self contained and don't tie into the main Batman universe for the reason that certain Batman stories can't be told as part of a larger universe.
Comic book movies need to go away. I realize they won’t because they print mountains of money. I just don’t have interest in them and I’m looking forward to when this phase in Hollywood moves on.

Moves on to what? If history has taught us anything it’s that not much will change. If comic book movies go away, it won’t mean a renaissance of gritty adult dramas. It’ll just mean different tentpoles flooding theatres.

A jet engine, now that's fire
Just because current electric car manufacturers make them look like potatoes doesn’t mean that they all should. But the fuel efficiency of a jet fuel powered batmobile makes it seem impractical.

They're a genre like romcom or horror. I just avoid the genres I don't like.
