I would say the only one is the US, but I don't think it is them. The United States has NEVER acknowledged the existence of a development platform, until it was already in service or replaced, and they have pretty much done just that through the release of this information. It goes way against their historical behaviors. If anything, they have gone out of their way to establish cover stories and sweep encounters under the rug, not bring it to the public's attention. So this would be such a departure in practice by a nation who relies on consistent behaviors to maintain their power, that it is just so unlikely. I mean, this is the country that further classified documents pertaining to the JFK assassination, because they were paranoid a broad release would disclose secrets from almost 60 years ago. So as a behaviorist, the release of information about these objects just isn't consistent with a country who holds its cards so close to its vest. Occam's razor and all that.
Well the easiest guess is it's the US. It's just baffling to write it off as an option, when it is the most likely one.
Gee, aliens or US military...lemme think...one clearly exists and has done all sorts of incredible technological things, is full of secrets and deception, the other is one of the largest questions in humanity. Occam's razor and all that.
Firstly, regarding earlier posts about ufo methods and motivations (why would they sometimes have lights on? why do they sometimes seem to not care if they're seen?) the whole discussion could be as pointless as a group of chimpanzees trying to figure out why jet engines are so loud. One chimp offers a theory and another chimp thinks its ridiculous and mocks it.
Secondly, if you believe that these objects are US Military secret projects or something of the like, then you would also have to believe that:
-The US Military is recklessly f***ing with itself and other near-peer nuclear armed states.
-The US Military has had this astonishing capability for decades.
I don't know what these things are but I'll just go ahead and say it, I don't think they are made or operated by modern humans. Roast me.
I don't think either of your points are that far fetched, considering we don't actually know what the capabilities of these vehicles are, just lots of videos that leave plenty to interpretation.
I'm not saying it's not aliens, but on the balance of probabilities, I don't think there is much difference between saying "it's aliens" or "it's god". Neither have any evidence to support it, so I must deffer to what we know exists, and that is plenty of secrets in the military community, and high tech stuff we know nothing about. Because they appear more often in the US than anywhere else, that leads me to believe it is the US military.
It's not just the United States. The following countries governments have all disclosed they collected and studied UFO/UAP events for years. They have also disclosed records to support their studies.
Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, United Nations, United Kingdom, Uruguay, and Vatican City(!) have all acknowledged organized study programs and collecting documented events. It just isn't the United States.
You'll notice the United States has not yet elected to participate in the disclosure project and have maintained secrecy over much of their troves of documents.

I agree with Lanny here, other countries have been relatively more open than the US. Then again, the US has a military-industrial complex that has to be one of the most complicated institutional structures in the world and have probably backed themselves into a corner they can't get out of narrative-wise.
Italy and Belgium come to mind about relatively openness with their incidents.

Once again not one shred of evidence that any of these things aren't man made. This is the same as a bible thumper telling me to prove God doesn't exist, No, you prove that God does exist!
Fact remains, there has never been any proof that aliens have visited earth...ever!
That video is a cheap hollywood style documentary by a YouTube Ufology channel, not one real video and most of the clips of those people interviewed have been around for years and debunked or blown up as kooks.
These Ufology channels are there for one reason...money.

I said "more often". Funny how the UFO's avoid Africa, or populous areas like China, Pakistan and India.
Spoiler!

I believe there was some sightings in Russia and China many years ago, which were later revealed to be military testing. Of course, the main part of interest with those sightings is the fact that the countries actually encouraged UFO propaganda to fool their citizens.
That seems just as likely as what has been happening in the US primarily. People see things, you want to cover it up, so you run the propaganda machines and encourage the crazies while convincing the gullible. Created a nice cloud of distraction around the whole thing. And hey! Don’t worry! We’re going to put some money into this to investigate it, because… you know, who better than to investigate something than the people covering up what it is.
A little conspiratorial, of course, but miles more likely than aliens.

To have data you would need data collection organs. Africa is populated with governments that can barely keep the lights on let alone with being bothered to track reports of aerial phenomena. You also need journalistic enterprises having interest in such content and be willing to publish such reports. You also need open societies where people feel free to report information like this. China, Pakistan, and India do not scream open societies, especially in the timeframe you showed in your image. I doubt the people are going to be running to the media or the government is going to look too fondly on anyone who shares their experience. And in reference to your image, what areas from the image below do you think might be of interest to someone/something looking to study our planet? Where do you think you might go looking for something of interest?
Spoiler!
Do you think there might be a reason for a correlation between the two images?
It might also be of interest that India is one of those countries that has elected to participate in disclosure and they did do a significant dump of sighting related materials.

What’s the criteria for this map? Is it specifically “UFO” reports, and there are countries who don’t call them that? I find it impossible to believe that people of the world don’t see objects in the sky that they can’t explain.

To conclude, we can say that our findings show that the countries with the most number of sighitings are the USA and that too especially the state of California but an interesting point to observe here is that based on the population density, the density of sightings are more in the state of Washington than in California. Both California and Washington have legalised use of the recreational use of Marijuana and this could explain why there are so many sightings in the west coast.
Your population map doesn't correspond at all to the sightings map where Hawaii is very bright.
It’s actually not a population map. It is a photo of earth from space at night, which might explain why someone/something might have more interest in one area over another. Occam’s razor and all that.
