They should have gone for two on the first TD because if you miss that one you can still get the next one and be tied, but if you make it you just need the EP on the second TD.

I still don't think it's automatic. getting 45 yards in 45 seconds isn't easy, Rodgers or no Rodgers. Plus you want to give your defense and crowd a chance, both in the last 45 seconds and in the OT. And you've got Tucker who can kick 60 yarders. On the road, I agree with you 100%. I had no problem with Baltimore going for it last week(?)

Huge turnover on a drive where you can see the D is starting to wear down. They really have to do everything.

^^They don't need 45 yards though, they need 35 yards. A 57 yarder is very doable as we know. Rodgers has already done it twice this year with even worse time considerations left. He's probably the best ever in the hurry up situations. Rodgers is on an insane run and should probably win MVP again. Last week was worse to me because the Steelers aren't a good offense, whereas the Packers are one of the best offenses. I just wouldn't want to have Rodgers with any chance to win. Even a Hail Mary is scary #### with him.

Saints are playing great defense, but Arians is also having a terrible night. So many bad decisions and playcalls.

What a game so far by this Saints defence.

a 57 yarder by Crosby outdoors is less doable as a two point conversion. what are we arguing here

This is one of the worst QB performances I've ever seen and I've watched my team play with Mike McMahon at QB.

Saints just own the Bucs right now. Brees just threw away that playoff game last year, but otherwise the Saints have consistently been the better team.

Saints defense curb-stomped Brady tonight. Injured receivers - but still, what a performance by them.

So a great day for the Packers (and Cowboys). Solo first now and the inside track to home field at Lambeau all the way.

That and that punk Jared Cook..his mid 3rd quarter fumble in Bucs territory when Saints were clicking looking to go up 2 scores was when the flip started.

Thank jebus Saints look like they're going to hold this...had the offence blown this masterful performance by the defence, I don't think I would have slept tonight. Saints NEED to get a real QB and receiving weapons this offseason.

So the Saints defense facing Rodgers and Brady this season....give up 3 points combined.

When facing Sam Darnold and Daniel Jones.....give up 53 points.

The NFL is bonkers.

You should qualify that with in the state of Florida. The Bucs did put up 27 points on them in NOLA. Still that is something to hold those two to a combined 3 points in those games. Saints might ask if they can move that Monday Night game to Miami.

Will need to see how the Bucs guys health is. Definitely a different offence without 4 big weapons.

Dennis Allen owns Tom Brady. Brady has usually always had the benefit of solid offensive lines in front of him but when he's pressured he falters like most QB's. Despite the announcers apologizing for Brady every 15 minutes reminding everyone of their missing weapons he stunk out the joint. If that was your first NFL game you would think the Bucs were the first team to ever suffer injuries to key players.

I can't remember who it was, but the person who tried to warn me about Todd Downing I'm sorry I didn't listen. Dude is straight up no good. Hes okay when we had Henry but since he's gone he hasn't adapted at all. He just has no feel for a game and always seems to pick the wrong play.

That was me. He had never been an OC when the Raiders promoted him from QB coach to OC and he was terrible for the one season before JDR's staff all got shown the door. It was looking like maybe he wasn't ready to be OC when the Raiders promoted him and after some seasoning he was doing a better job with the Titans but it's a lot easier for an OC to look good when you have defenses loading up the box to stop the run and play action is very effective. Without Henry play action is a lot less effective and you have to actually scheme up a good passing game.

Watching the game against the Steelers it's pretty clear he can't read the flow of the game. Titans were averaging about 5 yards per carry against the 30th ranked run defense and yet he still made Tannehill throw 32 times. That last drive they should have kept running it until the Steelers showed they could stop it.

Its pretty clear that Henry covers up a lot of warts on the team and that he's top 5 most important offensive players in the league.

So after delaying the game two days the Browns activate only one player from the COVID list. What a joke.

I think you are under rating the impact of a guy like AJ Brown. Without him, teams literally do not fear the Titans passing game and can really load up the box on them. Even King Henry is going to have a hard time running for more than that if teams have zero worry about the passing game. I'm sure they would like to keep running too, but when penalty's put you in a 3rd and 14 situation, two 6 yard runs don't help you much.

As much as QB's get all the press, there are a few wide outs who change an entire teams complexion on offence. Take Devante Adams out of the Packers offence or Tyreek Hill away from KC and and those teams are much easier to defend in my opinion than if you took Jonathan Taylor away from the Colts type of thing. Even the Raiders offence has struggled without Henry Ruggs basically being a decoy stretching the field.
