The Falcons have been stopped 3 times on downs at or near the 49ers goal line. Just no luck for that team. Still can't decide if they're the best bad team or the worst good team.

The Falcons are dead last in DVOA (yes, even worse than the Lions, Jags and Texans). They are not a good team, but have had a fairly easy schedule and actually some decent luck to win games they were outplayed.

Broncos are the Bears west. Great defense wasted by a pop gun offense. Rinse and repeat every season post Manning.

I don't get it. Baltimore's too good a team to have games decided on failed two-point converts

It really doesn't make much sense. I understand wanting to win but I'd rather take my chance in OT vs the 2 point play.

45 seconds and a timeout? I think you'd give Rodgers an 85% chance of getting into FG range. So the question becomes do you want that FG attempt to be a win/loss kick, or an OT/loss decision? It's a tough call when it's a top 10 QB ever to go up against.

I understand it if you're crap and on the road and will lost in OT anyways. Like in Kansas City.
But Ravens have just come from 14 down at home and have all the momentum.

Ravens went from 4th to 8th and out of the playoffs in one play.

Or not taking an easy 3 points on the opening drive instead of settling for 0.

Two point conversion rate is around 47%, probably better odds than beating Rodgers in O/T?

I liked the call to go for it.
Plus it seems moot as the Packers drove down the ball anyways

Humans aren't robots there's much more pressure when it's a do or die 2 point convert. Plus a backup QB recovery...
And they just stopped Rodgers the previous drive. You're at home, let your fans have a data in OT.

But the "humans not robots" take should also consider Aaron Rodgers is the guy you are giving the ball to with 45 seconds and a timeout. As I said to me that's a scenario where I see them getting a FG attempt 6 times out of 7. Ravens secondary was playing practice squad level players. Expecting them to hold off Rodgers in that situation is difficult. Your best bet in a final Packers drive is probably Crosby missing the FG, more than Aaron not getting them there.

I don't get why Dennis Allen hasn't gotten another coaching gig yet. He's the only DC to consistently give Brady fits every game. I mean that alone as your entire resume should get you hired.
Offence keeping the D out there too much, Kamara looked frustrated with Taysom after he missed him on a wide open slant. Would've been open field with 1 man to beat.

Wait, if you make the 2-point conversion, you're leading by one. Rodgers still gets the ball back with 45 seconds and a timeout.

Right, but what I'm saying is you're probably banking on a kick. Would you rather have that missed kick result in a win, or OT? Because OT still favors the Packers by a fair amount. The funny thing about this debate is that the Ravens got the analytics play wrong anyway. They should have gone for two on the first TD because if you miss that one you can still get the next one and be tied, but if you make it you just need the EP on the second TD.
