If the Coyotes think Chychrun is too old for their rebuild, then so are Andersson and Dube.

I think this is an indication that they want no NHL players on their roster.

I think we're going a little gaga here. Andersson is the better defenceman. Chychrun just happened to absolutely go off last season when given big minutes and prime PP time. He is already seeing his production plummet this year.

No. Andersson is Defenceman #1 on the third best team in the Western Conference, and 2nd best defensive team in the league. He also has twice the amount of points.

Its pretty hard to put up points or do anything well really on an Arizona team trying to lose...Chychrun is a way better player IMO. He is also 23

I think he is VERY highly rated around the league and if they are shopping him they will get a haul

Gostisbehere has 17 points in 28 games for them.

I'm definitely not saying Chychrun is bad, but Andersson is the better overall player in my eyes (and analytically).

I think you're overvaluing Chychrun's offensive explosion last year, and undervaluing just how good Ras is as a 200 foot player at even strength - although I do think he's a bit miscast as a PP1 QB.

...almost as if we should have accepted Philly's 2nd and 7th round picks in 2022 to take on Gostisbehere's contract rather than spending a 3rd to pay 3.75M to Zadarov.

Gostisbehere (for this season and next) + 2nd + 3rd + 7th Vs. Zadarov (just this season) and the subtraction of a 3rd round pick.

I know its a really unfortunate situation and hopefully everyone stays healthy and safe.

However if this core and team completely stinks for the remainder of the season and playoffs - then the excuses are now pre prepared.

As mentioned in the article, he gets injured every time he gets called up. It is a chance to get back one of those draft picks we sent over for Hamilton! Also worth mentioning that he is a RHRW, which means that they could call up Phillips, plug in this guy, and not miss a step in AHL production. Who knows, maybe he is a late bloomer.

Former first round pick Zach Senyshyn, who has consistently underachieved during his time in the Bruins organization, told Mark Divver that he’s requested a trade from the Boston Bruins organization.

There’s no doubt Senyshyn has stepped up his AHL game this season with eight goals and 13 points in 21 games and has a decent 15 goals and 26 points in 39 games over the last two years in Providence. But it’s also difficult to reconcile a player lamenting a lack of chances when it’s taken five years for Senyshyn to get his game together at the AHL level.

In these trade speculation threads we always seen to be giving up multiple first riund picks, 2 or 3 starting players and our best prospect for 1 player.

Does that ever happen?
