He was pretty unlucky to be on the ice for that goal against. He had nothing to do with it. I don’t know how they measure takeaways but he definitely caused some on the forecheck.

Not a fan of Chucky tonight. His stupid obsession with between the legs plays and inability to hit the net from point blank range neuter his effectiveness.

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect our highly paid elite goalie to have more wins than losses, and to have a better record than 1-5 in OT.

You want him to score in OT too?

He definitely blew two grade A chances.

I want him to let in less goals than the other guy in OT. He has a .583 save percentage in OT.

you don't even know what happened so what's the point in trying to argue with you

Flames have the best GA in the league..."goalie needs to be better derp"

If only he had his stick on the ice lol

Aho lost the puck and there was a double deflection, off the pad and then off Aho. Also their skates are literally touching, the momentum is pushing Markstrom back

Right, so one goaltender lets in one goal on a redirection and another after being pushed into the net by the goal scorer, and the other lets four past him but three are stopped by desparate last ditch plays by the D (that fail at least 9 times out of 10) and you’re complaining about our goaltender?

I can't do the moral victories for Monahan anymore. Plusinus might be a flawed stat but when you're -8 and the next worst player on the team is -2 that's not unlucky.

Really need to add some scoring up front. A player like Monahan isn't even providing secondary scoring right now and that's a gap for this team.

Because otherwise they are dictating play more often than not, just not always getting enough to show for it.

I was fine with the teams effort. They limited the Canes as well as the Canes limited the Flames.

We had what, 2 pucks on the line and two more on the way into the net and stopped last second?

We really need to change buildings, asap. Our own barn is just no longer kind to us.

The only player I'm having big issues with is Andersson. Drives me batshirt nuts watching him kill the PP from the point. Just awful. Put someone else as QB stat.

Brindamour has some outside the box coaching tactics. They bring down entertainment value but work for the most part.

This team is easy to evaluate for me. Sutter has them playing an incredible system we have the goaltending but are lacking down the middle and our D is suspect at times.

Good place to be overall feels like with a few tweaks we could be a legit Cup threat.

It's funny.. if you could Frankenstein the two Alberta teams, you'd have a contender.

By that I mean add McDavid and Draisaitl to the Flames and that's it lol.

Team just need a little game breaking talent and... boom.

Brad, you SURE you couldn't make up a package to entice the Sabres? FFS man.

Stop!
You’re embarrassing yourself.
Markstrom has been awesome this season.

Cup Final preview - Canes made two unreal defensive plays and that was the difference.
