They're not all going to get off the bench, let the trainers and first responders do their job.
Both teams looked very concerned, strange take.
Not saying get off their bench..players that were on the ice. You don't think it's strange that a guy is laying knocked out and 9 other guys are trying to knock each other out?

There was a shot when he was entering the tunnel, there was blood coming down from what looked like his eyes which were also rolled back and just whites when he was on the ice. It was quite disturbing and I don't know what that symptom could mean.
You must not be watching. He teammates gathered around him and escorted him off the ice.

Talking about at the time it happened. Teammate out cold and the first instinct is to go after other team. I think mine would be to go to my Teammate but I guess that is considered strange.

Ophthalmic vein rupture. An artery would be much more blood and swelling, but a vein could have been ruptured with that impact causing slow bleeding from the eyes.
Unfortunately, that almost guarantees a serious concussion. Hope he's okay.

Man, pretty awful to watch. I'm no expert and I guess by the book it's legal, he comes straight at him and even trying to look for one, there's no clear elbow and in any other situation it's a good hard check to the chest and effective defence. But if we're talking unsuspecting head shots, that's what this is and the only thing I can say is, Trouba definitely had the choice to take that hit or not plus potentially how hard to pop him.
Again, I don't know the right/wrong/legality so much but just hate to see it and the result appears like it could be devastating.

What a strange comment.

I can’t speak to your perceptions but watching kids learning contact through to pros that’s pretty much the same reaction from every team at every level.
Players mostly didn’t see it and aren’t sure what’s going on so they push and shove feeling the need to do something, reading their teammates who might have seen it for what.
Trouba was suspended 2 games in 2017 for an almost identical hit on Mark Stone-and Stone wasn't even injured on the play. Trouba has a bit of a history of dangerous hits.

Watching the slow motion I’d looks like Troubas in trouble, his elbows are down but Troubas shoulder certainly impacts his head first. The head snaps back, my guess is there will be a suspension.
It's a little concerning that there haven't been any updates yet other than he is being evaluated in the hospital. It seems like in most cases when there is good news (like being responsive and moving), they release the information pretty quickly.
