I was upset when the Stamps lost after the riders gave up four interceptions. But somehow the Riders lost a game that they actually finished +4 in turnovers.

Basically, that was a blowout in disguise.

Hamilton has a much better shot than people give them credit for. They're a better LOS team now that OL has gotten healthy.

On defence, they've been balling lately. I'm picking them to win next Sunday.

Yeah, playing at home and that Hamilton defense is very strong. Haven't checked the early line, I think the Bombers might be favored by 3 points to start, but I could easily see it being a pick'em by Sunday.

That bye week in the playoffs is a killer, You could see that the Bombers came out sluggish.

BTW that Riders catch was not a catch. I don't know how the video reviewers could call it one.

Falaful is just not a very consistent QB. The Riders couldn't take advantage of the huge amount of turnovers.

Think next week is a pick em, but I'm talking the Cats.

wierd game......bombers could have blown them out, similarly if the riders had been able to convert their turnovers - well.......

that second half - maybe mid-way the thrid that turned into a real slugfest.

oh, some of those receptions by the bombers receivers. timely.....

Chris Edwards is a POS hothead ; I'm not shocked he decided to go into the stands to fight fans after he allegedly had beer spilled on him.

That's also stupid if he had beer dumped on him but that's also no reason to fight fans either. Edwards proves time and time again. he's nothing but a POS hothead.

I find it odd that whenever i go to a game and there is what i would consider to e an obvious call, the review takes 5 minutes yet this review was done so quickly and incorrectly. that is not acceptable, it had the feel that they were just trying to rush it through. The Cats are due for the cup, i feel

Looks to me like a bit of manipulation by the league there as that ball 100% hit the turf and was not a catch. No excuse for that.

I think it's more a case of incompetence rather than manipulation (at least I hope so). They ruled it was a good catch in quick fashion as well and while I know they want to keep the game moving, that was a play where I think fans would be okay with taking the time to make sure the correct call was made. Alas it was not, but justice prevailed in the end.

It's not like there was a game scheduled right after. Honestly I don't even know how the on field official could have ruled that a catch as it was clear it hit the turf at speed. Video review is put in place to get the calls right, not keep the game moving. I would like to hope it's incompetence but you just never know with the CFL.

I agree with all of the above EE, at live speed it was a dubious catch at best and on replay, it was clear that Duke trapped it against the turf.

Was there a better video replay angle? My stream cut out so I'm not sure how long they took to review or what replays they looked at, but the ones they were showing initially were harder to tell (either the ball was out of frame, or it wasn't a closeup angle). My guess is that unless there was clear video, they gave them them benefit of the doubt by not overruling the call on the field.

But to me the obvious tell was the nose of the ball suddenly changing directions when Duke hit the ground. That only happens if the ball hits the ground, and the receiver doesn't have control of it from underneath. Should have been incomplete, glad it didn't matter in the end.

Well the Riders didn't embarrass themselves as much as the Bombers did. They really had no right being in that game, but the Bombers (and the league office) did everything they could to make it seem like a real football game that was close. 6 turnovers Bombers? Really?

And no, that was not remotely a catch and the game should have been over right then.

Shows what bush league the CFL really is, as does the way the whole MBT thing played out.
