I don't think any team does a better job shutting down Johnny than Vegas. They are in his face the moment he gets the puck. Every time. And he is constantly in 'avoiding a hit' mode instead of 'making a play' mode

Assuming the whistles stay away this will be the 3rd game in the last 6 that the Flames haven't had a PP. A little odd considering how often they control the play.

you're underestimating what killing 2 penalties does to a team, could argue we got scored on from being worn out from spending too much time chasing in our zone, a couple pp's would at the very least give our pk'ers a rest.

It’s not unreasonable to expect officials to call an even game. What is a penalty for one team should be a penalty for the other.
