LOL
As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I bought the AHL package and turned it on just in time to watch the Heat give up 3 goals and take their first loss of the year.
So I put it away.
Tonight I thought, I'm not superstitious, so I turned it on just in time to see the Gulls score a shortie - the first shortie of the year that the Heat have given up

Heat have killed 8 penalties against the #2 PP team in the AHL
2-1 late in the 3rd
"Walker Duehr denied by 2 inches of hollow iron"
Gawdin with the empty netter, assit to Valimaki. 3-1
Gulls counter 44 seconds later with the goalie pulled. 3-2 with a minute left
Sounds like Wolf had a 10 bell save with seconds left to preserve the win

I think Pelletier is looking way more dominant now than he used to be in his first 5-8 games. I was not that impressed with him (he was still good tho) at first even though he was getting points, but lately he has been very good, my expectations for him are way higher now.

At least a point in 14 out of 17 games this season and at least a point in 9 out of last 10, honestly this guy just shows up to play so consistently now

Three stars were Mackey (1g,1a), Wolf (stops 36 of 38), and Gawdin (2g). Pelletier is 6th in AHL scoring with 19pts in 17 games.

I liked Pelletier's game last night. But I like Pelletier's game every time I watch him.
I think he's an NHLer next year

So excited about him and I’m happy they are letting him grow at the AHL first where it looks like he’s starting to take it to the next level. Hopefully Zary catches up here after a tough injury plagued start to the year.

Cannot seem to find game highlights for Heat games when they are playing at home?
Nothing posted on AHL game highlights website or searchable by google.
Any suggestions?
Shout out to Heat management to provide such as in past years.

Defenceman Connor Mackey has been named the AHL's Player of the Week after posting three goals and five points through two games against San Diego.
On Friday, he became the first Stockton player to score a short-handed goal and a power play goal in the same game since Curtis Lazar did so on Dec. 8, 2018. He also picked up an assist and had four shots on net in the 4-1 win, earning himself first star honours.
On Saturday, he scored another short-handed marker and registered an assist in the 3-2 victory.
Mackey now has three goals and nine points through 17 games this season. The blueliner is in his second pro season, spending 27 games with the Heat in 2020-21. During his rookie year, he had three goals and 16 points and also played six games with the Flames, scoring one goal and three points.

Phillips is back for Stockton after missing the last three games in COVID protocol.
He has a goal and an assist in his first period back.

Wow, Heat are up 7-0 after the 2nd. Mackey, DeSimone, and Pelletier have 2a each, Phillips and Gawdin each have 2g,1a. Wolf in net, stopping 21 so far.
