Is PK messed up in the head or something? Does he just hate everyone? Why is he doing this all the time all of the sudden?

NHL needs to give him a multi game suspension. He's not going to stop.

I don’t actually think the player is crazy at all. Absolutely a dirty play. But when there are no consequences why would he stop. There’s crazy involved in this saga, but it’s not on the player’s end

$5,000 fines are a joke. He probably has that under his couch cushions.

It’s like he’s on a campaign for an increase in the max fine and/or mandatory suspensions. I’m for it.

He's just Careless and doesn't have enough respect for other players safety.

I heard someone say on a broadcast that it has to do with cross checking crack down. Tougher to contain someone so now he tries to contain with wide stance. Careless but not sure he is malicious.

A rich man in ancient Rome did that once. The law against assault hadn't been amended for centuries, so the fine, which had once been a substantial amount of money, was now a joke. This guy went around the Forum punching people, followed by a slave with a bag of coins. After every punch, the slave would hand the victim a few coins by way of paying the fine.

The law was duly changed and the fine was raised.

He losing a step speed wise, and isn't as strong as he was, so this is only way he can control a player as a defender, body position wise, instead of being embarrassed out there shift by shift.

If this was a guy like Garnett Hathaway doing this as a mutiple offender in the past 2.5 months, the consequences would be different, but Subban seems to have some different rules apply to him.

That's a fair argument, but you don't see every other player doing this all of a sudden this year. It's just Subban who hasn't adapted, if that reasoning is correct
