That Lucic goal made me laugh again at the "Around the League Report" from the other night when a poster was bashing Lucic saying he can't lift a puck. On pace for 25 goals!

That trade is costing the Oilers almost 2.7 against the cap for nothing, while we have Looch at 5.25, love it.

Andersson is much better now. I don’t see as many mistakes as before. Hanifin is solid. He is just not a top pairing dman some people are expecting

If Lucic keeps scoring, we might need a LATL (Looch Around the League).

This one is so true, for both the team and us fans of the team. You can see the confidence and belief growing. I notice a lot more comments referring to being a “championship” team from the players and coach.

So Flames fans think the Oilers are only staying afloat because of their powerplay. Mr. Kettle, allow me to introduce you to Mr. Pot.
Umm yeah because Oilers are No Good at 5v5.

5v5 Goal For %

1) Flames: 64.8% (46 For, 25 Against)

19) Oilers: 48.9% (46 For, 48 Against)

Man the delusional thinking with the Oilers faithful is unreal. Lol 10 non calls a shift?? If someone is defending McCryvid it’s not always going to be a penalty poor babies. Did they mention anything about our ‘favourable’ treatment from the refs in the two games we won on the home stand with literally not a single PP in both?

The ‘boring Sutter hockey’ line is getting old too and is more and more hilarious with each passing claim of it. Do they actually watch the games or do they just see a close mid to low scoring game and automatically assume that notion?

It’s sobering as a Flames fan to know just how exciting this team has been and just how well structured of a game Sutter has them playing. Keep the salt coming Edmonton it’s friggen glorious!

Another big shout out to Kylington who I thought had another stellar showing and also a big shout out to the towers as well, what a play by Gudbranson on the Tkachuk game winner to create the turn over at Center and spot Johnny on the counter. This team is playing stunning hockey and I’m loving every single second of it! Definitely not ‘boring Sutter hockey.’

We have 45 goals against TOTAL. That’s pretty crazy.

Wow lol and they actually believe we are saving ourselves on the PP… I know stats are tough to comprehend Edmonton but that’s just silly. We’ve let in less TOTAL goals so far than they have 5vs5 and we got guys like Oil Stain trying to come in here and piss on our excitement while simultaneously saying the Oilers aren’t being propped up by a house of friggen cards.

Game was 1-1 when Hanifin got walked at the blueline on the PP by their penalty killer Danault, leading to a semibreakaway. If Danault scores, it would have been a huge momentum shift in LA's favour.

Instead, Kylington completely eradiacates the play with his checking ability, and then sends Backlund off the other way, whilst joining the rush. He then manages to get the puck to Eatbread, which in turn opens up a lane for Looch for the second goal.

Sequence of the game. In past years that's probably a 3-2 loss off that sequence going badly alone.

AC is gonna have one heckuvan Oliver Kylington video this year.

Huh?

His previous 5 games he's had xgf% of 76, 75, 83, 75, 65%

If that's falling off a cliff, keep falling!

Ras has been absolutely incredible this year after having a tough year last year. Sutter has really gotten all the young D to commit to a structured game and I’m loving the zone exits from all pairings, everything seems just so crisp and clean.
